Silverknowes is a lovely golf course adjacent to the Firth of Forth in Edinburgh, Scotland. The front nine plays out to the ocean early, and the views are wonderful. Most of the course is wide open, with only pockets of trees here and there. Strong, westerly winds can turn this gentile course into quite a challenge.

The views at the course are spectacular. Cramond Island, Inchmickery, Inchcolm, Inchkeith, and Fife are the backdrop for much of the course.
