Hole 3 Discussion

Cramond plays along the course boundary, and you can see it’s namesake island ahead of you in the firth. The hole leaves plenty of room on the left side. While the course is parkland, when the wind is up this is the first of many holes that can really feel like links golf. Wind is the true hazard here, and will likely push you right. Be wary of the right-side fairway bunker, even if you aim left.

The green has standard-miss bunkers, short right, and long left, but they also have a bunker short left close the opening of the green to encourage a higher shot and more engagement with the wind.
