The 17th is a par 3 in another green fronted by two large bunkers. This hole may be complicated by a large tree on the left that can obscure part of the green. Further complicating this shot is frequent wind coming off of Lake Merced. Anything missing to the left will be severely punished with the penalty area, and will not provide ideal drop areas.
