#16 is a short par 4 that may even be reachable for some. Wind from Lake Merced, again, can be a major factor in this hole. Secondly, the tee shot is complicated by trees blocking direct access to the green, and large fairway bunkers that will catch any ambitious shots that don't move right around those trees. Many players will club down here.
The approach features two more bunkers fronting both sides of the green. With a well placed first shot, this approach should only amount to a short wedge shot.
