Hole 18 Discussion

The 18th is an extremely beautiful and challenging finishing hole. For women, this plays as a par 5, but for men it plays as a long par 4.

The tee shot should require you to cross a large gap to reach the fairway. If there is any wind, it will likely be behind you. The two fairway bunkers on the right will be in play for most, and the parking lot, out of bounds, is also reachable. It can be a true risk/reward hole for long hitters able to take their tee shot over the left of the Cyprus trees clearing the corner and leaving an easy wedge into the 3 tiered green

The fairway narrows notably after these bunkers, and the dogleg continues around trees to the green.

An approach shot is made more difficult by an elevated green. Two deep bunkers guard the left side of the green, and can easily capture aggressive shots moving left toward the green that miss short.

Once on the green, there is quite a bit of slope to deal with. Putting here will not be straightforward, and games can easily be won and lost on this hole alone.
