#11, named for Bobby Jones, is a long hole. The tee shot is straightforward, with the ideal position in the center of the fairway. The right side is to be avoided due to trees interfering with the approach, the left side will add a bit of length to the approach, however, there is plenty of room to miss on both sides.
Most of the danger in the approach is along the right side. Another environmental penalty area is here, which prevents playing any shot that enters this area. The bunker short right will punish many shorter hitters trying to reach the green from distance, and should limit any low, running approach from the right side.
