The third as a very penal par 4. The tee shot is the most dangerous shot, as the fairway landing zone is extremely narrow, and is effectively a mound between two valleys. Missing the fairway in either direction, with a full shot, will likely make the ball run down into one of these valleys. A shot short of the narrow section of the fairway will lead to an impossibly long, uphill approach.
The approach shot is safest on the left side, as the right side features a huge bunker and forced carry.
The green slopes strongly back to front, so is very important to be short of the flagstick if you can.
