The 17th is a pronounced uphill, bending hole. The tee shot calls for a standard cut, but missing right can be very punishing. Unless you’re willing to play short, anything that doesn’t move right can end up in the large fairway bunker on the left. The short-left bunker is about 165 yards from the center of the green at it’s farthest point, to 145 yards from the green and the closest point, adjust your tee shot accordingly.
The approach shot is similar to the previous hole. Strongly uphill to an elevated green. Conservative play here will likely be rewarded.
The slope on the green is extreme. There are two distinct tiers, so focus on hitting the correct distance.
