Hole 6 starts with a tee shot over OB; the Blue tee can be particularly unforgiving as it is almost directly beside the left hand tree line. The fairway can be tough to manage, as a forking creek forms an “island” which extends rightward from what would otherwise be a fairly straight hole. Generally, a good second shot will land on the back half of the island, but longer hitters may attempt to clear both forks in a single shot. The segment of fairway leading into the green is straight and flat.
The green has some undulation, but the primary concern is a significant ridge near its leading edge.
