Hole 8 Discussion

The eighth hole is a challenging par three that demands precision. Any miss is a bad one here: long shots leave a nasty downhill chip, short ones find a bunker far below green level, there is an OB fence just right of the green that catches even mild slices, and a miss to the left results in a steep uphill chip for the second shot. Once you’re on the green, the challenge doesn’t end, as the green is divided into two distinct tiers, and a ball finding the wrong one will leave the player with an extremely difficult two putt.
