Hole 16 can be played in a similar fashion to how it is played on the front 9, or the player can risk trying to get a very short approach shot.
Off the tee, a mid-iron can be played to roll down to the flat section only just reachable on the front 9. The sets up a reasonable approach. Adding a bit of distance can put a player further up, in the area below the trees on the left, but beware the fairway bunker.
Playing a driver can lead to a very short pitch into the green, but the shot must not miss the fairway, and must avoid the bunkers on both sides of the fairway. If this shot is played properly, however, one may earn a very short birdie put.
The only real trouble on the approach comes from overhanging trees. Due to the length of the green, playing a lower lofted club to the front of the green can be an option.
