Hole 15 Discussion

Hole #15 provides some major advantages to a strong player. Unlike #6, here, a powerful drive can get past the dogleg, especially with wind at the back, setting up the potential for eagle putts.

Off the tee, the first thing to note would be the large, imposing trees on the right side. The will make the hole more difficult for those playing a draw. The second thing to think about are the bunkers just as you reach the dogleg. While ending up in one of these bunkers will not be disastrous, it will certainly prevent an easy approach shot.

If you get past the corner, a long shot to the green is possible, likely similar to the approach on the front nine.

Playing to the green in 3 is a very reasonable task here. A tee shot short of the bunkers on the right will lead to an easy shot around the corner. From there, a wedge will get you easily on in 3.

Ideally, with a much easier approach shot, the green will be significantly less intimidating, however it will still be one of the more difficult greens on the course.
