The seventh is the first of two par 4s. There are a few palms on the left side, but for the most part, the drive is wide open. The wind and narrow fairway will factor strongly into the tee shot, and when the wind in up, it’s likely that an errant shot will end up in another fairway.
The green complex rewards accurate tee shots and punishes misses harshly. Two wide bunkers block direct access from the sides, but the opening in the front is wide, and running the ball up is possible. This is especially true of tee shots that miss right, which will theoretically bring the pond behind the green into play for those who miss the green long.
