Hole 4 is the place to make your ace on this course. The mid-to-short par 3 maxes out at about 170 yards from the tips. There are three bunkers in front, of which the center bunker is by far the worst; the other two are relatively easy to recover from. There isn’t much room to miss long either, since there are only about 15 yards of space between the back of the green and the woods. If you’re going to miss, behind the right bunker and between the front two bunkers are the safest spots. The green has a gentle slope from back to front and left to right; if you’re putting from the right front to the back left, give it some extra gas to avoid a three-putt. The center of the green will make your life much easier than pin-hunting will, even when it’s tempting to get greedy.
