Hole 15 is the easiest hole on the course, at least on paper, and really, it should be the easiest. It’s a completely flat, straight par 3 to a large green with no hazards to clear. There’s a large bunker behind the green and the same oak tree that menaced your drive on 14, but other than that it’s pretty innocuous. However, it frequently plays into the wind and almost always seems to play longer than its stated distance (usually no more than 170 from the tips). There isn’t much advice to dispense here; a good mid-iron should be a par. The difficulty here is all psychological, and it’s surprisingly strong.
