The third is a short hole, but a strong dogleg left. There is a large tree on the left side requiring players to play the ball much farther off the tee than they might think. It may look wide open to players with a tendency to slice, but every yard right adds nearly that much distance to the approach. The is a generally flat section just beyond the 150 yard marker, but players take caution, shots can easily run into the long grass (and are more likely to on the flats), so be keen on your exact distances on this drive.
The approach will likely be short, but plays to a very difficult green. Most of the right edge rolls of into the thick stuff behind the green. Getting close will be rewarded, as this green is challenge enough to leave many difficult second putts.
