Windy Trails Golf Course, located on the north side of Altus AFB, offers players a challenging 18 hole golf course that is also fun to play. The par 72 course offers customers a variety of tee boxes to play from, and depending on the wind direction, the course plays totally different from day to day. The bent-grass greens offer golfers good speed and smooth putting surfaces as you play your round. You also have a great view of both Quartz Mountain and the Navajo Mountains.

The “original 9” holes have Pencross bent-grass on the surface and the “North 9” holes have a mixture of Pencross and Crenshaw bent-grasses.

Only active duty military, military retirees, reservists, National Guardsmen, DoD civilian employees, NAF employees and respective family members and guests of all the above are eligible users of the 97 FSS activities unless otherwise noted.
