The Airngarth Course is the main course at West Lothian GC. It appears they also have a winter version of this course, called the Kinglass Course, and a nine-hole version called the Caddell course, however these appear to be modifications of this course. The details can be found on their course page.
The Hope Monument is a prominent landmark on the course. It was erected to the memory of Brigadier General Hon. Adrian Hope, C.B., who was killed in 1858, in his 38th year, in the attack on Fort Rooeah in Oude during the Indian Mutiny.
