Golfclub Amelisweerd is an 18 hole A course designed by Gerard Jol, situated just outside the city of Utrecht and easily accessible due to its location next to the A27 and A12.
The golf course is located next to the Amelisweerd nature reserve. The planting of over 1000 new trees together with all the old trees make this golf course a very characteristic nature reserve.
The design and all the natural elements such as the many trees, three large ponds and strategically placed bunkers create a very challenging golf course, for both the novice and advanced golfer.
The 18-hole course is divided into 3 sections, called rooms. Each of these chambers has its own character and they are separated by many years old hawthorn hedges. While playing a round, six times you change rooms, making playing at Amelisweerd a varied experience.
The course consists of five par 3, ten par 4 and three par 5 holes.
