The 13th is notable for it's blind tee shot. While the hole may appear to be a dogleg around the large fairway bunker, it is, in fact, mostly straight.
The ideal tee shot will likely cross the fairway bunker and roll down toward the green. Shots that try to avoid this bunker should reach the rough, or even the OB on the left side. There is a fair amount of room to miss right and still have a look at the green, depending on thickness of the rough
The approach is often a downhill shot that can make holding the green more difficult. This is especially difficult when the hole is located tucked behind the left side bunker.
