Hole 18 Discussion

The 18th, Cypress, is a dogleg par 5, with out of bounds along the entire left side.

The tee shot is narrow, and the fairway does open up to the left as it widens. Anyone attempting to reach the green in two should try to cut the corner as much as possible, but must have the length to get under the trees at the turn. A conservative player should have a nice time reaching the wide faraway, and getting close and left on their second shot. Approach shots play best from the left side of the fairway. Tee shots missed wide right are very playable from the 14th fairway, but may lead to a blocked approach shot from the group of trees to the front right of the green.

The green slopes back to front, and is large enough to be accessible, but challenging. There are no bunkers around the green, so this 18th can play as an aggressive, exciting finishing hole, where low scores can finish out a round.
