Hole 15 Discussion

Named after the fifth hole at Prestwick, a template that also shows up the 6th at St. George and at the 7th at Shiskine, Himalayas is a remarkable par 3. The tee shot is typically completely blind. The reeds grow up in front of the tee boxes and can may grow higher than the flag stick. The green complex is dominated by a very large, very deep bunker short and right of the green. Next to that is a squat tree that can knock down shots and complicate chips around it. The left side also has a small bunker.

If the hole is blind, the dead tree generally marks the center of the green from the center of the tee.

A right-side pin near the deep bunker is likely the most challenging position, and should leave a downhill putt to most of the safer green positions.
