The tee shot on this hole gives options to the player. Longer fades keep the player away from the red stakes on the left, but the prevailing headwind could push the ball right into the trees, or worse. The left side kicks down into the hazard.

Note: there is a sewer main on the left edge of the fairway that could dramatically increase distance if players hit it squarely.

The green slopes back-right to front-left, but there is a bunker at the bottom of the slope, so aiming to be below the hole could be dangerous.


Anything hit left center of the fairway is in danger of going into the lateral water hazard left hand tree line. There is more room to the right than you can see from the tee. The prevailing wind tends to move the ball right to left.
