The fifth is a surprisingly challenging hole. Accuracy off the tee shot is paramount. The trees short of the hole create a very small window for players access the green. Getting the tee shot into this window is the key. From this position, players have options to play safe shots toward the hole.
The green slopes back-to-front as is very welcoming to shots, the trouble is mostly behind the green, which will likely punish those who need to play high, over the trees.
Lay-up short of the carry rough, the 150 pole is your best target, for the best angle to the green through the wind-break of trees. The green is long and narrow with bunkers on both sides.
