Located in the heart of the Spey Valley, on the famous Whisky Trail, Rothes Golf Course was initially opened as a nine-hole course in 1990, and has seen many changes over the past few years to include two sets of distinct tees. The Puncheon Course (Orange) and a Hogshead Course (Green Tees) are both named after sizes of Whisky barrels synonymous with the water of life.
Today’s course is an inland course, built on parkland featuring lush tree-lined fairways overlooks wonderful panoramic views of the Spey Valley and the friendly village of Rothes.
This is a member-owned club providing a test of skill for golfers of all abilities.
