The second is a very strategic par 4. The first thing to note on the tee is that both fairway bunkers are completely hidden from view. There’s one on the left and one farther down on the right. The drive is nuanced. It plays down to a fairway that will kick strongly forward and left, toward the left-side bunker.
The approach to the green can be played two ways. Either directly over the front facing bunker, or off the small hillock, short-right of the green. The starter recommends that you play a short-right off this bump, to have your shot roll onto the green, ideally below the hole.
The green is quite challenging, and the entire green slopes to the left edge, where the hole falls off steeply. This green presents an even greater challenge if the pin is in the middle-left position, where players above the hole may roll off the green entirely.
