The 13th is a par 5 with a heavily bunkered green complex. The tee shot plays slightly uphill and brings two fairway bunkers into play to force the play to play away from the green. There is a red penalty area on the left side, and out-of-bounds on the along the right side.
Only the longest off the tee can attempt to reach the green in two, and they will be challenged by the fairway bunkers in their ideal landing area, an uneven lie, and a bunker cut across the back of the green ready to catch any shot that runs across the greens surface.
For those playing to the green in three, the second shot is to a fairway pitched left, and will kick shots toward the creek. Given the green's shape, good positioning for a wedge in is important. The approach plays over two large front bunkers to a green pinch on three sides by bunkers. The back-right of the green could be trouble, as it has a challenging ridge line one may need to putt down.
