コースは、当時コース設計の第一人者上田治氏が、
「自然の地形を存分に活かし、ブルドーザーの手をできるだけ入れないようにしたい」
という乾理事長の要望に基づいて設計されました。

こうして、自然の静けさの中に豊かな風格を備えた小野のコースが、
廣野の姉妹コースとして誕生しました。

「より良いコース造り」に努めて、日本オープン、関西オープンをはじめ、
ＪＧＡ、ＫＧＵが主催する公式競技のほとんどの種目を開催し、
全国的にも「名コース」として高く評価されるまでに至りました。

グリーンは時代の趨勢によって平成六年秋、大改造に取り組み、
一年の工期を経てベントグラスに変身しました。

The course was designed by Mr. Osamu Ueda, the leading course designer at the time, based on Chairman Inui’s request to “make full use of the natural topography and avoid the bulldozer’s hand as much as possible.”

In this way, the course of Ono, which has a rich personality in the tranquility of nature, was born as a sister course of Hirono.

Striving to create a better course, the Japan Open, Kansai Open, and most of the official competitions sponsored by the JGA and KGU have been held, leading to a reputation as a “famous course” nationwide.

In the fall of 1994, Green underwent a major renovation in response to the trend of the times, and after a year of construction, it was transformed into bentgrass.
