Hole 13 Discussion

Every bunker on Hole O’Cross (in) has a name. Nick’s bunker and the Coffins test the drive. Cat’s trap, Walkinshaw’s Grave, and Lion’s Mouth guard against the ground game here. And, finally, the Hole O’Cross bunker guards the front right of the green.

The hole is a long par 4, that plays slightly uphill. Off the tee, clearing the Coffin bunkers is a strategy for the longest hitters, but most will likely need to play right.

The approach will likely be long, but the green here, shared with #5, is enormous.
