Toughest par 3 on the course, maybe even toughest par 4 to the less than scratch golfer. This hole offers very little forgiveness. It plays about a club longer than the yardage in a slight hurting breeze, slightly uphill from the tees. The creek from 16 extends to the left of the tee box, but crosses to be right of the green, requiring a short carry to reach the slope up to the green. Reaching the green will land you on some of the most dramatic sloping of any green on the course. Basically, everything on the putting surface is significantly left-to-right and back-to-front, often extremely. Traps are short-right and long. Hazard is anything right of the green, welcomed by the slope on that side. Left of the green is a hill that doesn’t feed onto the green because of a valley similar to #13 at Augusta National. Par is a great score no matter who you are.
