The tee shot on the ninth is semi-blind. Players must hit over a large red penalty-area that obscures the view of the left-side of the fairway. There are fairway bunkers guarding the right-side, requiring most players to hit to a landing zone the can’t see. The penalty-area extends leftward, so a draw moving left from the bunkers is the safest shot.
The danger on the approach is on the left side. Two bunkers guard the green, front and back left.
