The eighth plays like a quasi-redan. The fallaway green makes attacking the back pins directly very dangerous. Playing to the front edge should allow shots to trickle down more safely. There is, however, a dip in the fairway short of the green that can kick shots rightward into the fronting bunkers. There is also a rock feature left of the green that can bounce the ball wildly in any direction.
