Hole 12 Discussion

While it not the longest par 3 on the scorecard, #12 is likely the most difficult par 3 on the course. The hole is entirely uphill and plays 20 to 30 yards longer than the listed yardage. The tee shot also needs to be straight, as there are overhanging trees on both sides, leaving only a narrow opening at exactly the height most shots will fly through. Playing the tee shot low here will leave much more room for error.

The green slopes dramatically. Mostly, it slopes back to front, but it also slopes away from the center. The most challenging pin position is center-right. Anything on the center-right of the green can roll down all the way to the fringe off the green. The center-left side of the green holds better, but is still quite sloped. The back of the green is mostly flat. This green is trivially easy to three-putt with a challenging pin placement, if not four or five putt.
