The 17th has another semi-blind tee shot, this time over two large bunkers on each side of a pinch fairway. Players who can get over these bunkers are rewarded with a clear look at the green.
The approach will be slightly downhill, into a green guarded strongly on the front by two bunkers. There is a bit of safety playing to the middle-back of the green, as there is a slight up-slope to protect against running off. Anyone brave enough to run the ball up the middle will be rewarded with their ball being funneled to the center of the green. The biggest danger for running off the green is the back-right and back-left corners.
