An outstandingly picturesque moorland course lined with fir trees, bracken, heather and whins, Kilmacolm is renowned for its James Braid layout.

Braid completed the design in 1924 and the quality of the course has been regularly endorsed by the highest calibre of golfer, from the legendary Walter Hagen to European Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallacher. Measuring 5961 yards off the back tees, it continues to present a challenge and Club members include current and past national and county champions. With the introduction of our gender neutral tees the course is accesible to all especially with the new course rating system.
