However, trees line both sides of the fairway, so any off-target drives in either direction will leave the player with no route to the green on their second shot. Players finding the fairway will face a severe upslope to the green, so taking an extra club for the approach shot is typically the best play. An approach shot wide right could lead to a difficult up and down for par.
