Hole 4 Discussion

A classic links inspired hole, consists of a slight dog-leg left that rolls gently downhill to the green. Although no bunkers are present on the hole, be sure to put the ball in the fairway, or the rough will make it difficult to advance the ball towards the green. The prevailing cross wind can change this hole dramatically in length and ball trajectory.

Once near the green the fun really begins as there are many ways to approach the green and imagination will help to get the ball close. The green contains may ridges and undulations making reading putts very difficult. Don’t go long as the green backside drops off dramatically.

Another hole where a slice/fade will be punished by thick grass or OB…or at best adding a ton of yards to the hole. This hole shape gets replicated in number 8 as well so get used to it.

Green is probably the most fun on the course given all of the waves. Very reminiscent of a Donald Ross green where the sheer variety of pinnable locations means it’ll play very different every time.
