As the first and the only private country club in Discovery Bay, the Discovery Bay Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course constructed in 1986 by the renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson. Noted for his distinctive style, Mr. Robinson formed a series of lakes that meander through the course, providing a unique and beautiful scenery and a challenge even for the low handicapper. Fresh water from the nearby San Joaquin Delta flows through the lakes from four entry and exit locations.
