Those that cherish the game of golf consistently regard our historic course in Contra Costa County as the best in the area. With a newly redesigned RTJII par 72 layout, it’s a joy in all four seasons. Challenging, fair and yet comfortably walk-able, you’ll enjoy a stroll through our manicured landscaped of dramatic native oaks, tall eucalyptus, magnificent deodar cedars and ageless redwood trees that frame dramatic views to Mt. Diablo and beyond. Once a large farm surrounded by dry, golden grass, our course today is a verdant and lasting testament to our membership’s dedication to the game. CCCC has been through at least three major iterations, the most recent occurring in 1992 when Robert Muir Graves was commissioned to design new greens out of carpet-like bent grass. This has made them second to none in both quality and challenge throughout Northern California. With a new bent grass infusion, our RTJII renovation changes have only improved this classic. The course plays longer and with more difficulty than it looks, which inspires our members to play again and again; doing whatever they can to drop a stroke or two.
