Braes Golf Centre is the operating name of the golfing and hospitality venue on the site of the former Polmont Golf Club. The course was built in 1976 although the original Polmont Golf Club dates back over 100 years so there is a bit of ‘heritage’ here !

The whole site extends to some 90 acres including generous practice facilities.

In 2020, the site was bought by Steve Matthews, a local businessman and lifelong golf fan. Steve’s vision is to create a top class facility that caters for every standard of golfer, beginner to club champion, and to be an inclusive and welcoming place for all.

We are here for a good time, not a long time, so its important we make the most of our golfing time. There after loads of good 18 hole courses around Central Scotland if that’s what you want, however, 18 holes can often be just too time consuming, or physically demanding for many, so 9 is the new 18 for many people these days!
