James Braid designed the course in 1935 on the estate of Schawpark House where it has an extremely picturesque landscape and has gained much privacy from the mature tree-lined fairways.

Look forward to playing the challenging finishing holes – 15 to 18. These consist of 2 long par 3′s, a demanding long par 4 and a par 5 which will test any golfer’s ability. Watch out for that ditch just in front of the seventeenth green!
