Hole 4 Discussion

Hole 4, the 1 handicap, is an uphill dog leg left Par 5 with plenty of trouble. The tee box is kind of weird in that it is pointed at the trees/OB area to the left of the fairway so the set up is somewhat uncomfortable. The ideal tee shot lands at the top of the hill with a bit of draw, but it’s hard to hit. A short slice to the right leaves you in a valley between the fairway and the 5th green which tends to feature some daisies and dandelions that makes finding a ball difficult, plus you’re in the tree line without much to look at. A deep shot to the right will leave you in the 5th fairway, which is much more playable. However, there are tall greens between that side and the green which make it difficult to reach if you are out of position.
