Hole 5 Discussion

A relatively short par 5, many will find this to be a turning point of the round. If a player can survive “The Undertow” (holes 2-4) without too much damage to the scorecard, the 5th will come as a much needed relief. The hole doglegs left at a corner around 250 yards away from the green/brown tees and around 200 from the white/yellows. If your first shot finds the fairway, both going for it and laying up are options. Even with a poor shot off the tee, simply getting back in play for a good look at hitting the green in 3 makes a par very possible.
