The 14th is the first hole along the south side of the course. The overarching features from along this southern section are the penalty area along the right side, fairways that kick left, and the softer ground than the rest of the course.

The 14th tee shot plays downhill to a fairway, and may require longer players to move the ball left in the air. Finding a flat landing area here can be difficult.

The approach will likely be uneven, and the two bunkers short of the green are generally in play.
