Hole 3 Discussion

The 3rd hole plays as the longest par 4 on the course and the most difficult hole on the front nine. The difficulty comes from the length and the fairway and hole being lined with dense trees on all sides. The tree line on the left is shaped by the cart path and offers an unobstructed second shot in the fairway. A single tree on the right of the fairway can block a second shot if the drive does not clear the tree. A drive to the center or just slightly left of center is the safest play off the tee.
