This par 3 is dangerous in it’s subtlety. The focus here should be on not being long. There are two important factors here. The prevailing tailwind is the major risk, and should be noted in club selection. The second risk is that the back-center of the green will funnel the ball off the back, which makes simply aiming for the center more risky than normal.
There are bunkers mostly across the front, with a window for players running it up. The right side miss is also a trouble.
This hole usually plays downwind thus requiring less club than normal for the yardage. Trouble lies both right and left as lateral water hazards and as bunkers. Be sure to walk to the west side of the green and look at the 13th hole to see the landing area for your next tee shot.
