Hole 4 Discussion

The fourth is a dogleg right, with a creek cutting across the dogleg. Distance on the left side will be rewarded with a shorter shot to the green, but the risks of out-of-bounds on both sides come into play, and the landing zone narrows significantly.

The approach from the left side will fairly straight into a deep green. There is a front, left bunker, but playing to the back of the green should take it out-of-play.

Any approach from the right side will have to flirt with the large trees, as the player tries to move the ball left-to-right. This also brings the bunker more in the landing zone.

Ladies play this hole in five, which adds a lot more options. Getting over the creek safely should be the goal. Once on the other side, players can approach the green either high or low depending on how much the bunker left is in play.
