Hole 1 Discussion

The first hole is a strong dogleg right par 4. The tee shot as a lot of options. Driver moving left-to-right could reduce the approach shot, but you can’t cut the corner because the hole is adjacent to the driving range with large nets in the way. A long iron or hybrid may be an option for many, as reaching the turn is only about 190 yards off the longest tees.

The key here is to hole is getting a comfortable position for the approach shot. The approach must carry a creek, and also has two front bunkers. A wedge in with a good lie will be rewarded.
