The ninth is a risky, but gettable par 5 with a tailwind. There are two lines.
The aggressive live plays a powerful drive out as far as possible. The water along the right there is the obvious risk, and the standard over-swing miss will end up in the pond, and a hooked shot will end up out-of-bounds. Assuming a successful drive, the second shot will be a massive carry over water the whole way, then a bunker short of the green, making aiming for the center of the green just a bit more risky.
The conservative line keeps the pond out-of-play on the drive. The second shot will play to the right, away from the green (taking both ponds out-of-play), and the the third only plays over the corner of the second pond, with a good angle at the green and plenty of room to work with.
The best way to play this hole depends on what you need on the card, but don’t let the tailwind fool you, this are no easy eagle putts on this hole.
