The seventh has a distinctive creek that cuts through the center of the landing zone for most players. For shots to be safe, they should land in the fairway short of 150 yards from the center of the green, though there is a bit more room on the left side. The ideal landing zone, however is on the right side of the fairway for the best look at the green.

The approach is a test, as it plays into a tucked green, with a significant drop off on the short-left side. Keeping the ball on the green will be rewarded.
